Armida develops software and hardware that delivers ultra-reliable streaming video over wireless networks for commercial, industrial and government customers. Current wireless video products suffer heavily from outside interference, weak signals and limited bandwidth resulting in jerky, blotchy and incomplete video at the receiver. Armida’s Videlity™ software wraps the video stream with extra protection and encryption before transmitting it, so that even when up to 25% of the wireless data is lost or delayed, Videlity still creates flawless video at the receiver.
ArmidaWare™ Product Suite
Our ArmidaWare™ product suite represents a new class of wireless solutions developed specifically to meet the needs of converging Security and IT industries. ArmidaWare delivers a carrier class, wireless communications infrastructure for transmitting CCTV quality video, access control, and other security-related data between remote locations.
Most importantly, the Armida solution uses industry standard 802.11a/b/g, 802.16, 900 MHz, and 4.9 GHz wireless technology, enhanced with proprietary Videlity technology to overcome the inherent limitations and instability of ordinary wireless networks.
While fully interoperable with all wireless and wired data networks, ArmidaWare™ products are specifically designed to provide a secure, resilient communications infrastructure optimized for the delivery of high-quality surveillance video and other security-related data over extended distances.
