ArmidaWare™ 4D Server & Basic NVR Software
The ArmidaWare 4D Server and basic network video recorder (NVR) software is the central point of monitoring and control for Armida’s Videlity Operating Environment (VOE). Using 4D Server software, authorized security personnel can control cameras, communicate with other system components, monitor video, and manage video recording and storage.Easy-to-Use, Cost-Effective Solution
Together with the ArmidaWare SecurityController or CameraController, the 4D Server software provides a complete wireless security infrastructure that enables all types of cameras and other equipment to be controlled remotely using industry standard 802.11a/b/g, 802.16, 900 MHz, and 4.9 GHz wireless technology.
The ArmidaWare 4D Server and basic NVR software runs on a PC that receives data from and transmits data to an ArmidaWare SecurityController or CameraController. Security personnel use the 4D Server software to control the wireless surveillance system and manage video. This software also enables a secure, reliable wireless communications link with additional security devices, such as alarms and access control panels.
As a basic network video recorder (NVR), 4D Server software displays, manages, records, and stores video. Security personnel can monitor the system directly from the 4D Server PC. The software also securely broadcasts video streams over the Internet and enables authorized personnel to access and control the system from any location, using PCs or wireless devices such as PDAs or mobile phones.
A fundamental part of the Videlity Operating Environment (VOE), the 4D Server software implements Armida’s patent-pending Videlity technology. This innovative video processing and network management technology optimizes video transmission, delivering unprecedented, high-quality video over wireless networks. In addition to ensuring quality image delivery, Videlity technology secures all transmissions using industry-leading AES encryption.
VOE networks use MPEG-4 image compression to optimize image delivery. Once images are loaded in the 4D Server, they also can be exported in other standard formats for viewing and manipulation using other applications.
